Their linemen have great technique. Their defensive linemen get off the ball well. Their primary back looks like a real strong runner, and they have some speed at wing T. It looks like a Rifle team.

If you had told me that we would turn the ball over five times and still beat the defending state champions, there's no way I would have believed you.

It was one of the plays you always wanted them to run. A couple of times we actually practiced it and tried to put it in.

It was a great game. It was a fun game. The officiating was awesome. The players were all great. It was everything you want in a high school football game.

It's sad, because linemen have that dream of carrying the football.

It showed our kids they could go up against great athletes and compete -- and compete as a team. If we hadn't come out after the lightning delay and executed and won that game, where would we have gone?

I told them it's not acceptable to leave here without a win. We needed to play with our intensity.

Our execution at the beginning of the game was perfect.

Boy, the core of our offense uses speed to get outside, and when we can make that work, it makes our life easier. So, we were very happy. Good start, good execution.

To be four games in at 3-1 is about as good as we could have hoped for.
