He pitched his game. He's done that all year long.

He's making big league plays out there. He'll be drafted as a shortstop.

He's a hitter. He's a great defensive catcher. And he also has a great relationship with the pitchers. The pitchers trust him, and that's important to us.

He's the old guy. He's the guy that's been around. He's the guy that's been through the wars. We're going to expect a lot out of him.

He's working really hard, and that's a tribute to him. He's going to be ready every time we give him the ball.

By far, by far. There is more talent on this team, and we're further ahead. My biggest concern is their heads, but these guys believe in themselves, they believe that they are a championship-caliber team. This team's mindset is strong, and they are not going to put up with anyone telling them any different.

He's taken them under his wing and leading them and the freshmen understand him and respect him. Young kids are going to hit this stride and take them to the next level and we hope that's this weekend.

It's growing on me; at first I thought it was just a fad. It's kind of interesting. The guys that are playing in it see it as a competition, and they're playing to win.

It'll help us to play somebody in a different uniform instead of dividing one team into two. When you get one lineup together, you have a good idea of what team you're going to have. In terms of wins and losses, it's going to be hard to tell.

It's been tough so far, but the weather is picking up. I'm very optimistic that we'll get this program going.
