It was like an accident. It can't be helped when you finish a race that way. I've already got this strong feeling of avenging this disappointment in the next Olympics.

It's great to finish on the podium. I got a huge boost from the Japanese fans and owe this all to them.

This course didn't look very difficult for me. There were tracks in the snow that looked good for me to follow when I was attacking the gates.

I had wanted to perform strongly and pump my fist after crossing the finish line. I feel greater than my last second-place finish because this time making it to the podium was a much more vivid target.
