I don't think any dialogue taking place behind the Iraqis' and Arabs' backs can be fruitful.

Iraq's Kurds are an active part of Iraqi society... and Arabs consider them as brothers. The identity of Iraq cannot be defined in such terms,

I hope stability and security will reign in Iraq, and that fraternity and cooperation will prevail between its different communities,

Does this text question the whole of Iraq's belonging to the Arab world?,

(This resolution) needs a calm examination to figure out how to deal with it.

We demand an explanation from the Iraqi government on this document which left us deeply disturbed,

We have always understood the Kurdish people's ambitions,

We examined Iraq's Arab dimension, its unity and all its negative aspects,

redoubling of Arab efforts to support the Iraqi people in their sad hour.
