Satan's main target is the mind.

Yoga definitely entails the mystical, and the esoteric, which would qualify yoga as "occult".

That night I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of my life. I turned back from my involvement with yoga, astrology, and Hinduism and I threw all my books in the garbage. For the first time, I slept soundly, full of love and peace. I was free in Christ! The miserable demonic attacks stopped completely, and each day was full of joy, and not confusion.

Often they think they are just doing the postures (asanas), but very few people ask about the spiritual implications of the asanas, or even know that they exist.

Today, the lies and distortions of Hindu ideas and yoga have found their way into many Christian churches, and Christians are slowly being deceived by the devil.

He is a personal God who wants to relate with human beings, not just a force or an underlying principle or reality. Therefore the concept of the divine as it is often found within yoga is very unlike the God of the Bible.

The Bible, however, says there are no other gods besides the one true God, who created heaven and earth and everything in it, and it is for this very reason that the pantheistic worldview that everything is divine, which is held by most yoga propagators, cannot be justified on biblical grounds.

According to the Bible, the believer's relationship with God is not instigated through self-realization, but rather through faith in Jesus' sacrificial death and resurrection from the dead...

Today I am totally free in Christ and will never practice yoga again.
