I guess we can't seem to retire, not fully at least.

We're permitted and licensed for my lamp repair and Tillie's art. It's kind of a two-for-one deal.

My No. 1 job now is being a grandparent, not repairing lamps or selling power line equipment.

Our assets are small, and the amount we make isn't much bigger.

Since we do charge for our work, we do need the permit and licenses, but do it not so much for income but more out of a love of what we're doing. We really do enjoy our work. We're blessed and don't need the extra income, and we're at a stage in our lives where we don't have to do work if we don't want to.
