You can't stress free throws enough. Free throws almost always seem to play a pivotal role, and we have been on both ends of it all year. We shoot them in practice every day.

I think our emotions were running a little high. It was hard to focus even if it was our last game of the season. Plus, their zone gave us fits. We weren't able to knock down shots.

I just said here is what they are doing, here is what we have to do, and let's go do it. The biggest key was our defensive pressure got rolling. We turned it up a notch. We got two five second counts.

I'll bask in it a little bit. Twenty-four hours at most. Then I'll go back to looking over our future opponents, seeing if we can get an edge.

It was a defensive battle throughout. Our defense did a good job of shutting them down with some really tight man-to-man.

It's a good victory for us against a solid Lady Jays team. To come here and beat them on their floor is just a challenge in itself.

They are big and physical. It should be a good game.

This is really exciting for the girls. And, any time you can come up to Jefferson City and beat them on their home floor, you have to be pleased. They will probably end up being state-ranked. We need to take what we did tonight and carry it over into the championship game.

Defensively, we came in and did what we needed to do. And, we did a good of getting the ball into the post.
