You were always a fan of the Florida Gators, especially if you played offense. They always had a big-time offense.

Being a captain on this team is a big honor,

I had guys calling me to see extra tape this summer. That was special,

I'm so proud of our guys and the seniors. Iowa is a first-class team. We should feel real confident. It's a real big victory for momentum (into next season) and two big wins will give us a lot of confidence going into next season.

It was a great win for us. It was good to finally get a bowl win under our belts. Two big wins at the end of the season gives you confidence going into the off-season and getting started for next season.

I've got to congratulate the coaches. They came up with a great plan.

That's something I admire about them. They get players you don't hear much about in high school but a bunch of them end up being drafted.

It makes it even better when you go out and earn it. The guys respect you for it. They'll go out and they'll play hard for you. That's a good feeling to have.

It means you're a true Gator. Before you walk out that tunnel, touching that gator, it gives you the confidence that you have and lets you know that all the sacrifices the older guys in the 50s, 60s and 80s made gave you the opportunity to be able to touch that gator.

It's easier now because they can just pick out what (Florida gear) they want to wear.
