I just wanted a different environment. I wanted to be on my own. I wanted to go somewhere and be by myself.

I like the spotlight, but I don't let it go to my head.

It was like an explosion. I was holding my own against some of the best players in the nation. After that tournament, I felt like I was the best player in Palm Beach County.

It's a rivalry and everybody wants to come out and see Dwyer and Lakes play. When they beat us earlier, that was the first time I'd lost to them since I was a freshman and I didn't want to lose twice to them my senior year.

We liked that we were underdogs. Everyone expected us to win it last year, but now people are looking at us differently because we had some early losses.

Our post players just didn't come to play that game. We gave up like eight dunks or something.

I didn't want to get frustrated, but I'm not used to losing. We just had to trust one another. We pulled together as a team.

We started off real slow this season, but we wanted to put ourselves back on the map.
