I'll put this team up against any in the state. They play on intestinal fortitude, heart and determination. This a pretty tough bunch.

Not only are they very good offensive, but they are just as good defensively. This is the best team we've played, no question about it.

They like to get it and go. They're quick, smart and hard-nosed. They play hard-nosed defense. They'll be a challenge.

Our defense won the game. Offense can win you games, but to win the Big Daddy you have to play defense.

West Frankfort was supposed to win. ... but, it isn't always the biggest, fastest or strongest that wins, but it's the guy who thinks he can.

He didn't get into a groove for a while but he settled in. He's on track now.

He is a pretty good athlete, a heck of a kid and his expectations are very high. He's very intense and he'd get the most out of his players, that's for sure.
