I don't regret bringing him back. This program had an impact on him in a lot of positive ways. He did some good things for us, but he also did some things to really tarnish our program.

If we bring our 'B' game or our 'C' game, it's going to be a long day for the Cyclones.

I know there's real risk involved in this. Something could go wrong and somebody will say we should have never brought him back.

The administration at Iowa State has been very good overall about trying to help me, but I can assure you one of my first goals with the new administration coming in here is to try to improve everything for my staff.

It's poor judgment. We got off to a bad start and it sickens me, it upsets me, it disappoints me and it frustrates me. There's not a Division I staff in the country that puts in more time to send the message.

There's nothing magical. They're just things we do, variances of drills we do. It's not always the exact same thing, but it's always a tempo setter at the beginning of practice. It helps our defense get in the mindset of being aggressive.

There's no question he's one of the top recruiters on my staff. He's earned this.
