I appreciate the conference office acting upon my request to review the matter and their willingness to hold officials accountable for their work.

For 2007 and 2008 we are exploring several options, including Grambling State. We are excited about bringing this team to Houston and giving our football team and fans another home game and a very entertaining opponent.

It's money that was here that is no longer here. You're talking about money at the gate, television money, bowl money. You're talking millions of dollars annually.

That part, I'm sure, will get squared away, right away.

I've looked at facilities all over the country. And I think they will find our stadium is one of the best for soccer anywhere.

First of all, they went through the whole situation before the season began. They indicated that what they saw would be adequate. Obviously they miscalculated.

When you see some of these presidents do screwy, interesting things, I don't know that things are changed markedly over the last few years. Some of these guys don't have the power to tell boosters or the money guys, 'Look, this is the way the thing is going to be. I'm going to cut this program down.' They'd be gone.

We feel good about the challenge of the schedule. We think Conference USA is going to be very competitive ... we feel pretty confident in meeting the challenges of this schedule.

We just couldn't work everything out. We have no on-campus housing available.
