In the next few weeks we will see a lot of it.

It looks definitely that we are way out of the ordinary. My prediction is that this will be a big flu season. It's all over Northern California.

There is no way at this time that we can even plan for this epidemic.

A lot of our facilities are old, with no isolation facilities.

We are in outbreak mode. We are seeing much more evidence of flu than we normally see.

You can do a lot to protect yourself by using hand hygiene, cough etiquette and staying home if you have a fever.

If you are between 5 and 60, you may be as sick as a dog, but you will recover. It's the very young and very old who don't have that immunity that are at risk.

We're seeing a lot of influenza, more than in recent years. This is a very big year.
