This is a good club in a good league. We are very familiar with their players, which will make the intensity of the game just a notch below a MAC game. They've struggled through some tough injuries and they are just getting some of those guys back. They have played a real tough schedule.

I think all of our players and coaches are a little salty after this past weekend. We don't think we played up to our expectations and would like to get back out and get on the winning track.

That's a nice thing to have. But to expect that is a little unrealistic. If you look at those seven-run innings, we got some help from our opponents. So if they want to continue that, we'll take it.

After this weekend you will start to see some separation in the standings.

It was nice to see Bobby Stevens get his hands through the ball finally.

The best part of the event is that it is a way for parents and players to reconnect and get back together after a spring break that was spent on the West Coast.

It's a great way to start a game. I wish we could start that way every game.

It is very comforting for our pitchers to know that the pitches they throw for outs - they'll get outs. We've been getting some above-average defensive play out there, and the success of our pitching goes hand in hand with the success of our defense.

Bobby can run the bases and play defense. It was good to see him get his hands through the ball. We think he is going to be a five-tool player.

Brian Toner had a great day today. Brian Smith got the barrel through the ball, Minogue got a couple hits, and we needed everyone of them today. It was a hitters day, tough for the pitchers to establish their breaking balls.
