It was the first time he had run in two weeks. He took two weeks off to heal (from a severe blister on his foot) and we are very pleased to see how he did. It was hard to convince him to take the time off.

Every single runner that was out there last year on this same course improved their times by a minute or more. As a coach that's what you're looking for.

For Sarah to be able to have the time she did was wonderful.

She said she was all right and I think she ran well enough to prove that she was strong enough to continue on so we don't have to worry about holding her out any.

We are also getting to the time of the year when the weather's getting cooler and you will see people from all schools getting better.
