I just try to let the game come to me and get my teammates involved. If there's a good shot there, I'm going to take it. If not, then I'm going to pass it back out. I just try and go with the flow.

I hope it doesn't creep into anything. We just have to remain focused now that we're the only team in the nation that's undefeated. We have the biggest target on our back that we've ever had. So I just think we have to stay focused because anybody can be beaten on any given night.

It was exciting, being the first team in UNC history to be No. 1. But Sunday's game was over. We knew N.C. State was going to come in and give us their best shot.

Coach told us to expect a physical game, but we weren't expecting it to be as physical as it was.

Ivory is a character. I don't think she really cares what she does. She just tries to be unique. She's the (Terrell Owens) of women's basketball. When she makes a hustle play or a steal, she might give you a dance or a wink to let you know that she's fired up. You just never know what she's going to do.

You have to be really patient against a team like us because we can be really scrappy and irritate you. You have to be poised and patient and take care of the ball.

We were a little bit upset by that overtime loss. We knew we were the better team, but it wasn't our night. Today in the first half, a lot of things worked for us. Maryland didn't quit. They fought back, and they gave us another good game.

It couldn't come any slower in my opinion, but I'm glad it's here.

Maryland, from the (opening) tip of the ball, they wanted it really bad. And it showed out there today and they came out with a W.

I think there was a lot of one-on-one defense. There wasn't much opportunity for people to help.
