I had a bunch of young kids who lifted (as) exhibitions and set personal records. It was a pretty rewarding day.

He's a worker. He never misses a day. He's (in the weight room) first and leaves last.

If it were my choice, we wouldn't do it this way again. We didn't have much rest or really any time to workout after the county meet. We didn't have great totals, but I feel like our guys rose to the occasion.

So he didn't go all-out when he was so far ahead of everybody.
