The game just came to me, I just relaxed a little bit and let it come to me. I've been hearing from all of the coaches that I go in spurts and stops, so tonight I got it in my head to just dominate the game.

All teams are going to try and prove they can beat the No. 1 team. They are going to come at us as hard as they can.

For some of us, this is going to be our life career. We have to take it seriously every game and every day.

I didn't try to force anything. If it comes to me, I'm going to take advantage of it. The last couple of games I didn't feel that I had the opportunity.

He stepped up big for us tonight ... tremendous. The rebounds, the baskets, he was a beast. To me, he?s the bully of the Big East, and he?s just a freshman. It?s going to be scary to see him in a couple of years.

Can't head out there too cocky. Just play like we need the win.

It helped us a lot because we knew he wasn't mad. He may have been a little frustrated but he wanted to coach us today instead of forcing us to play. He saw we were playing for him, playing as a team. A lot of times when you lose poise, you lose focus. Today he was backing us up. I thought he did a very good job coaching us through this one. Very good.

In high school, he was recruited; he was an All-American. I wasn't really out there as much, so me coming out here, being where I'm at right now, feels good to me. He got the best of me in high school. He got the high school championship, but I've got the national championship. That means a lot more to me.

Anytime your team comes off a loss, your game needs to step up another notch.
