It's going to be interesting. All of the teams are trying to generate some positive momentum going into conference play. It's a tournament that's pretty much in question. There's not a clear-cut favorite. It's wide open. It ought to be a fun couple of games.

For Appalachian State, I thought this game read like a bad book. There was a great start and a great finish but nothing in the middle.

It's a good fit for us. It's a mid-major field, not a real high-level tournament.

We got some high percentage shots down the stretch. We were able to drive some, and we broke some things down.

We were going to go with D.J.. He gets up the court in the blink of an eye. I knew we had time to get up court and make the play.

We just came out flat to start the second half. You can't say it's due to fatigue or anything like that. We just didn't guard them as well. But I could talk all day about how proud I am of these kids. They never quit, and we had no seniors on the floor today.
