If Nelson keeps working at things and keeps believing in himself, he can go a long way.

The biggest thing is that we out rebounded them. We did a pretty good job on the boards. We pressured the ball with our man-to-man defense and rebounded. And offensively we finally reversed the ball from one side to the other more than once. We had a couple of real good days of practice this week. Hopefully we can build from this and get ready for the rest of the season. Our next three games will be a test of our hard work and if it will pay off. We face T.F. North, Thornwood and Thornton.

This was a big win for us. We stepped up and played with a lot of energy tonight. We made some turnovers at the end, but we came together and played well.

We didn't execute down the stretch. We didn't rebound during key possessions and that cost us the game.

That's the only negative about this. These kids have been working hard all year for a win like this. It's just too bad it had to come on Mike's night.

I was just listening to my coach. He told me to quit thinking about my shot and just shoot it n let the game come to me.
