In the game of football, there's a lot of passion involved. To have a young man missing from your family, it makes you look at things with a different mindset. We've raised funds every year, but this year, there's no doubt what our fund-raiser was going to be.

Without looking at the film, we looked sloppy at times. We knew we'd have some small mistakes. We've got new kids in key positions, and how we respond to them will be how successful we become.

We continue to make history. Two years ago we reached the pinnacle of Texas high school football, and now this is only the seventh time in history a Texas team is playing a California team.

If we do come to an agreement, then it's just an advisement.
