The changes have been a tremendous step in the right direction. But ultimately, it's bad policy for the state. It's like putting a Band-Aid on a gushing wound.

Not having one voice isn't a weakness; rather we have a lot to pull from.

It's unfortunate that the state thinks that they need to weigh in on immigration, particularly when it's a federal issue and the U.S. Senate is poised to act on this issue.

This is something that's going to resonate with Latino voters in November. We're going to remember it.

These laws put all Latinos at risk because of racial profiling.

I see that we have a huge problem with drug activity. It seems they can't catch them fast enough. And those people they catch are replaced within days.

We're making sure that we're sending the right message.
