All three of our guys are right up there in the state. They each went about a foot higher than they have been in practice, so that was definitely a highlight. They are all among the top seven in the state right now.

All in all, I'm very pleased with the efforts of our kids. We're definitely a work in progress. After this meet, it's important for us to get more out of the kids who haven't been performing so far.

I was very encouraged by some of our marks and the effort by everyone was good. But we just aren't as strong in a few areas this year. I'm just looking for us to improve steadily throughout the season.

Larry is the single person who got most of the volunteers. Nancy, Debbie and all my coaches helped get everything organized since 6 o'clock this morning, and they were all instrumental in putting on this event. It was a real community effort.
