The nation is turning its back on people with mental illness right now.

It was just the luck of the draw.

At least Nebraska is doing that. Nebraska does show some common sense.

They haven't opened any beds to replace the regional beds that I know of.

Don't get me wrong, there are some good things happening. But to me if one mentally ill person is at risk, or more at risk than he was three years ago, then things aren't right.

At the 15th he led the crowd in a chant when I was teeing off. But he was very gracious and affable. He's just a regular guy, not pretentious at all.

There is about to be a big calamity if something isn't done soon. Without the regional centers, we are dead in the water.

To be truthful, I don't even know why it's so necessary to close the regional centers. It's going to end up costing us more money to close them than it would be to keep them open.

I think maybe that might be where Larry became misguided. He's trying to protect the organization and not help mentally ill people.
