For the past two years, this team has been my life. They're part of my family. It's hard to have to step aside.

I didn't see the clock. But I knew I had to do something. ... She was waiting there for me. All I saw was her long arms. It's a tough loss, but we definitely feel we can hang with anybody.

It's my job as the captain and team leader to create shots when we need them. I honestly was looking to shoot. I knew what I wanted to do. It was just a matter of executing it.

It's a fun game to play in, but losing stinks.

They ended up hitting some shots down the stretch unlike the first half. The third quarter, we didn't score for the first three minutes.

This gives us motivation for the next game.

It was totally surprising. I wasn't expecting to win. This is an honor. I work hard at what I do, and it's nice to have a payoff like this at the end of the year.

This one hurts. I wanted to be the one to take the team to their first state title. And it didn't happen. I didn't come through for my team.

We've been on the losing end too many times in close games this year. Now things are going our way.

We kind of got lackadaisical. I'm pretty disappointed with the way we finished that game. That's not going to cut it if we want to win the state championship.
