Any time you hold a team to seven points in a half, it says your pressure is probably working.

It was a big monkey off our back to win our first district game. Now this sets us up for a shot at getting to state. This was a big win and hopefully we can keep it going.

It seemed every time Mount Tahoma would cut the lead to three or cut it to one, we'd get the ball in her hands and she'd hit a real tough shot. It really stopped their momentum on several occasions in the fourth quarter.

It's hard to keep a great player down for the whole game. She's a big-time player, and she hit a big shot.

It will be a good measuring stick to see how we shape up against some of the state's other best teams.

They play like seasoned vets. They are so composed and confident. All three are competitors. They hate to lose at anything they do.

That's what we expect of her. She's a great player who can do it all.

Right now we're looking up at Auburn Riverside. They are the team to beat. We have that one marked on our calendar.

We kind of have that marked on our calendars. But we have to take care of business with a lot of other quality league opponents.

Tonight was a good game for us. I don't necessarily believe in moral victories, but our girls know now that they can win games like this.
