Golf is a diabolical game. It's easy to make fun of something that's so bizarre, so painful, so humiliating... yet so joyous.

I played a practice round with Hubert [Green] the other day, and when we got to the ninth green, I heard a fan say, "Why does Hubert have two caddies?"

Golf is tougher than my first wife.

He's incredibly important to our chances. We're just going to try to rehabilitate it and get him therapy.

His desire to do whatever was needed for our team to win (was special). We needed him to inbound the ball, play with his back to the basket and guard the other (team's) post.

I just think he's grown into his role more and more, and he's become aggressive. He's tougher and more aggressive this year. He's starting to blossom at the right time. He anticipates defenses as well as anybody I've ever coached.

I'm flattered by the honor, but I'll accept it on behalf of our whole staff. It's a reflection of the quality coaches I have around me and the talented basketball players.

I'm just thrilled for him. It just shows you that hard work pays off, and his hard work helped us with our success this season.
