In practice, we worked on stalling and scoring. We knew they were going to give us their best shot in the second half.

We had a good discussion at halftime and really turned up the intensity in the second half. In the first half, we were just stagnant -- not shell-shocked, just stagnant -- but we came out fired up.

We have tried to do some different things the last few games. One thing we can't do is come out slow against them, because if we do, it will be a long night.

We played in one of the toughest regions in the state. Going 2-8 has helped us as we played Westside-Macon and the other top teams every night.

We are getting better with each game. Maybe we are peaking at the right time.
