I don't think we came out ready to play. I'm not convinced having a bye is a great thing. We were close to letting things get away.

I don't see a reason for doing it. If it doesn't add something to the game, why do it?

Hey it's state tournament, I am not fussy where we play.

I know that was in the back of these kids' minds. We talked about it when we went out tonight and reinforced it at halftime. We remembered the feeling of losing last year and we didn't want to have that same feeling when we left this place tonight. They were very determined and set their mind to it.

I'm tired. I feel like I played out there tonight.

I'm really proud of their effort. To take the Division 1 fifth-ranked team to overtime without your starting point guard, I'm pleased with that.

It was a good ball game. You want to head into the tournament playing good basketball. I thought we played well tonight.

It was like Monroe North here. I thank our fans, the kids responded to (the cheering).

That just tells you how difficult it is to get here.

It speaks volumes of the kids. They're the ones who play the games, and I'm forever indebted to this group.
