Crafting has always offered a social element. But I've noticed that within the last four years, I'm hearing more about the all-night scrap parties, the retreats and the cruises. More people are exposed to it, and it's just more fun to do with other people.

It is more trendy than it used to be. A lot of the celebrities now are knitting. That is always a draw to the regular consumer.
