The great thing about that is that she did most of it in the first half and didn't play that much in the second half. So it really shows that we came out strong. Sometimes teams definitely have a tendency to kind of sit back and try and feed, but sometimes those feeds will open up if you keep applying pressure and we definitely did that today.

I don't know if it's a wake up call that we need or if it's just kinda having a confidence every time we go out on the field and knowing that even if the other team scores a goal, it's not the end of the world and that we can battle back from that.

It's really been our goal all year long to try and get our team to respect each opponent whether it's a top-10 team or non-ranked one. Going into conference play, Vermont and Albany both have dreams of going to play in the tournament and a win against us would put one of them in, so we really need to focus on beating them.

No, I wasn't worried. It's our first game so I really wasn't surprised. I think I kind of expected us to get a slow start. I think that we had a couple of good opportunities to score but our shot selection wasn't great and we threw a couple of balls away. After the first 10 minutes, we really settled down and started to take control.

It's a new team, so I think it is exciting. It's fun to have a different opponent, and it's a big athletic program, so even though they don't have a long-standing history with the lacrosse team, it's a huge athletic program. So I think that makes it a lot of fun to have them come out here.

It's great to have a player like Jenny on your team, but it's also hard because you do expect her to come out and have a game like this. I think there are other people that are capable of putting up those same numbers, and I think when we really start to find our game and start rolling, we'll have more than just Jenny scoring that many goals in a game.

It's gotten really rare. I think when I was in college we had a lot of dual sport athletes, but I think they really came to school to do that.

They're steeped in tradition, and they've always kind of been lurking around the top 20 for the past few years. Traditionally they've been giant-killers. They always come out hard against good opponents.

I've been expecting it all year -- I think we could've scored more goals. I think we have an attack that is really capable of putting the ball in the back of the net, and I think they've kind of been shying away from doing it a little bit. Something that we've really worked on practice the last few days is just scoring.

We've really tried to play to our strengths a little bit more. Last year Mary really stuck behind the crease a lot and was a great feeder. I think now Mary has really worked hard to get in better shape and to get faster, and so I think she's a threat from up top as well.
