I didn't think we played very well defensively the first half. The second half was the time we played really hard and started boxing out.

I haven't actually seen it because every time I've been around it's been wrapped. I do know there was some discoloration and swelling.

I'm so proud of what they accomplished out there. They're a very well-coached team out there. This is not going to be an easy game. We have to prepare, and we have to play well.

I knew in the locker room that we looked kind of dead and flat and I was worried when we came out. This is a real rowdy group and they were very quiet before the game. I was happy with the way we came back in the second half and that we found a way to win the game.

I'm not real happy with the way we played. I don't think the girls are, either, because they weren't real excited at the end. I don't think we played as well as we thought we could have.

I'm not sure if it was the drive or just the fact that we had beaten them handily both times we played but I thought the girls came out real flat. I wasn't real happy with the way our starters played.

Their size is a concern and they are obviously a very skilled basketball team. You don't get to the state tournament and not be an excellent team. We haven't played a lot of zone defense this year but it's something we worked on this week.

That first quarter really hurt us. I think we might have been intimated with their inside game and I think that bothered us. Seven points is hard to make up against that good of a team.

We got rattled in the beginning and it took us a while to realize that we could compete.
