The first inning was a key point in the game. But we've had a lot of practice in that scenario.

All we need to do is play our game. The key for us is to come in with a high amount of positive energy.

You can't give up those things. That is just too many mistakes against a good opponent and we paid for it. Obviously we are disappointed because we had such a gorgeous day and such a good fan turnout but we have to rebound quickly.

I felt that this was a key weekend for us. Knowing you can win close games helps the confidence.

In order for us to be effective as a pitching staff, we have to get ahead in the count. We have to make them earn their way to the base. We can't continue to give out free passes.

It was a game of inches and they got the inches. We came away with two losses, but we played really well. If we can compete like this then we'll be in good shape the rest of the season.

It was great that we came from behind and had some adversity. It was a big win for us.

It's very important that we make a move now. We have to start playing better, although I feel our record would be a lot better if we had got to play all of our games (of which five have been cancelled). We're worried about one game at a time and we just have to have confidence that we can get the job done.

It's been a combination of issues for us. A lot of it depends on how we do in the circle, but we also have to play defense and hit. I really don't like (losing) because it's frustrating. But I do think everybody is trying to figure it out.

It's all about Bowling Green and Toledo this weekend. It's important that we return home in a good position. These Mid-American Conference games are very crucial.
