I knew that she was very worthy of the honor. One of the things that really stood out was that she helped propel us from being picked seventh in the league to finishing fourth.

I'm excited for next year. I can see before anyone else where this program is heading, and all the hard work of the last five years is starting to pay off.

This week is our biggest week in our history here at Missouri Southern. It just goes to show you how tough this conference is. It doesn't matter who you play or where you play, they're all quality teams.

We didn't give up. It was a hostile environment (with 3,500 fans in White Auditorium) and a rough basketball game. To come back and play well speaks a lot for the character of this basketball team.
