The girls came out fired up and ready to play. I guess the more hostile environment we're in the better we play. The atmosphere here was similar to our last game (a 66-23 victory Jan. 28 at East Knox).

Honestly, we look at it like we're 0-0 going into Monday's game and win or lose we'll be 0-0 again going into the tournament. We've taken it one game at a time all along, at the start of the season and now again here at the end of the season.

That's one thing we've been working at. We started the year pretty weak at the free-throw line. Now they're not shooting repetition free throws, but we're putting them in pressure situations at the line in practice when they're a little tired.

It never should have come to that. We should have fouled her the second she touched the ball. We never should have put her in position.

It's been really nice. I can go down to Mike's classroom now and talk basketball. He's really turned things around in a short period of time.

I've been doing this for 20 years. I've seen hundreds of kids. Monica is dedicated to music. She's got perseverance. She's one of the few that will actually make it.

Division II is very, very tough. We're not alone. To hear the other team cheering in the locker room, that's our motivation to come back and work hard again next year.

We weren't aggressive in the first half. We went deep into our bench in the first half and played a lot of players. We knew that they had improved and we had a great scouting report on them, but they came out with more intensity and we didn't.

We knew we wanted to come out and push the ball and make them worry about all of us, ... We've got five players that can score at any time, any way.

We are more experienced and that's going to help. Division II is very, very strong, though. We have to show up every night and not get caught up in looking ahead.
