This may be a good board for monitoring the financial status of the company, but it lacks experience in marketing and manufacturing and innovating in those areas,

Bringing in somebody like Jerry York would be, in my opinion, a great idea.

What happened at GM 13 years ago was a seminal event. This board may have something to prove at an equally difficult time.

York is on the inside now. Now that the camel has his nose under the tent, it's a whole new ballgame.
