All of the girls got great racing experience running with a lot of good kids. (In) a lot of races in the mountains, the girls get into running by themselves, but in this race, they had people all around them.

Their times were fabulous. The only team the guys didn't beat was Grand Junction, which is a 5A school.

They came out and they were lights out.

It will give us a good look at other schools we'll face in the Western Slope.

It takes us getting on the track to get that accountability of speed.

It was one of the best days Battle Mountain cross country has ever had.

It was a great day for all of our kids to get together in a meet. They showed a lot of encouraging results. It was nice to dust of some of the rust. You can expect rust when you have 4 feet of snow on the ground.

It looks like he's recovering from his trip to New Zealand (to run in the world trail running championships).

It's a fantastic start to the season. The girls definitely won on the strength of their team effort. They had several strong finishes, but nobody in the top 10.

It was SAT day, so I know for certain (Mountain View) held out one of their top runners, but if she were to finish where she normally does, we still would have beaten them by a few points.
