I have to give Northeastern a lot of credit. They played really well.

In the first half, they couldn't get it together, but I think that changed in the second half. We didn't feel as overwhelmed.

If you look historically at our program, we've always had outstanding goalies. That's definitely been a BU tradition for field hockey, and outstanding goalkeeping has always been a strength of our program.

It was a hard-fought victory for us. Hofstra is an athletic and aggressive squad with great team speed and I'm pleased with the way we came out and competed.

Erin definitely kept us in the game. There was a point in the first 10 minutes that I thought it could be really ugly, but she had some big saves. Erin and the defense did enough to keep us competitive.

We were able to control the game and make good decisions. The middle of our field needed to have a great game and they did.

We need to play the way we played against BC against Hofstra this weekend and against everyone we play for the rest of the season.

Our weakness right now is definitely inconsistency, ... They played very well against Michigan State, didn't play well against Louisville and I was pleased with the way they played against BC. They'll need to be much more consistent.

I think we played an average game. It wasn't great and it wasn't horrible, but we definitely didn't play to the level that we are capable of playing.

Holly is an outstanding hockey player. She's definitely been a great addition to our program. She has eased right into being a first-year starter.
