Anxious is good. It's good to excited and hungry. If you're too loose or overconfident, it's hard to put forth the effort you need when you're challenged. We know if we work hard, things will work out.

It's a new field. It was like running in sand and we weren't able to use our speed.

It's really hard to be responsible for four teams. And it is four teams when you add the junior varsity. It takes away from your concentration, and you end up doing a mediocre job with all four teams.

There's a lot to be said for home field. Unfortunately, it's a luxury we don't have. It's a long road trip, but we'll be leaving early. We'll stay down there the entire time, so I don't think it will be an inconvenience.

They're probably one of the top three teams in the state. We have to go back to the hotel and get ready to go again.

You never realize how important Kathryn is to the team until something like this happens. If she was back there, I don't think we would've made those mistakes.

Defensively we tried to hold off in the first half because we felt we had enough energy in the second half be able to make good possessions and try to attack. That's exactly what happened.

I wanted to get everyone's attention. We need people willing to play and put out the effort.

We had really good possession at midfield, but we could not get that penetrating pass to get behind (Rogers). I think they deserved to win. I felt they were really prepared and wanted the game more than we did.

We've played well this year. Our fitness level is very good, but matches against two good teams like Bentonville and Jenks have identified some weaknesses that we need to remedy.
