I knew we had the bats to come back. Everybody was starting to get a little nervous. The kids played well.

It was pretty much a team effort. This was really big for us. I was really proud of them. They did a good job. Everybody did what they needed to do.

The nice part of this team that we have is everybody's athletic. A lot of people are versatile and play a lot of different positions.

It was early and I was thinking 'let's get up early'. It was going to take a perfect throw to get her and she made it. I was gambling.

It wasn't one person today, it was the whole team. I thought we had it (the win in teams' first meeting on March 16), but we lost 1-0. I knew this team (Carson) could hit. The scoreboard looked like it was a football game.

That part of the lineup is starting to come through.

Everybody's working hard and it looks like they're having a good time.

We just had the inning where the wheels came off. The merry go-round started.

We didn't play perfect ball, but we played good ball. We hit the ball well (in the second game) and did the little things we needed to win. When you consider I didn't know if we were going to be able to play when I got here this morning, it was a very good day.

That's the team I know. Everybody stepped up today. It's the first time in a while I was able to see some smiles on their faces.
