He came in and hit a couple of big shots. I may need to look at playing him a little bit more.

Hopefully being on television will bring out the best in us. No doubt, it gives us more exposure and it should help in recruiting. I think it's a win-win situation.

I think our guys understand the importance of this trip. We need to play with urgency and play with a purpose.

I'm real proud of these guys for battling the way they did tonight. We had a good shot of winning the game there late in the game. But we missed some easy shots that we normally make. And we missed some free throws. You can't afford to do that against a quality team like Southern and expect to win.

I knew he had the injury, but we expected him to be a little more productive. He's playing like we expected him to play all along now. He was a missing piece for a while, but he's been real steady since then. He's really stepped up big these past two games.

I know Prairie View isn't a towering team, but we rebounded the ball much better.
