Andre really came to play tonight. He was all over the floor and played great defense. I think we fed off his energy.

Holy Cross is a quick, athletic team. We have to be speed conscious. We can?t get into a horse race or the advantage will go to them. We need to play ball control offense and get the ball into the right player?s hands.

It?s great to finish the season 16-4. This team is really starting to come together because they are playing hard, unselfish basketball.

It's 71 years later and they still come to the games. The kids have to know this and where they came from. We talk a lot about the past and focus on the tradition of the program.

They showed they belong in the final game, as well. That's an excellent team that we beat tonight.

After the first scrimmage, I realized that they didn't need any extra time to develop on the junior varsity.

It was a nice break for the kids. It can't be all about work. The kids need to have some fun, too.

This team got to the semifinals last year. They got a taste of what it feels like to be in the final four (Torrington lost to Wethersfield 57-52 last season) but are hungry to go farther.

We all knew what Jordan was capable of doing.

Both teams are going to go with what got us here. We?re not going to make any changes to our game plan. We just hope to improve on our strengths.
