The intensity was there on defense. That was good for (the offense). That's how it has to be for us to get prepared, because there's going to be no mercy from USC. They're the best team in the country.

Your feet get really hot, but it was OK. It was fine for me. We'll see how everybody adjusts on Sept. 3.

We're used to practicing in the heat. I don't think USC will be ready for the heat.
