Coach had challenged me to come out early and get some buckets. The basket just got bigger. In the end result, it really doesn't count because we didn't get the win.

I wanted to do whatever it took to win this basketball game, and that's what it was. They feed on Daniel Horton getting off, because he has so much freedom in the offense. You have to limit the fouls, because he's a great free-throw shooter and great all-around player.

The defense was great. The coaches gave us great preparation. Adam (Boone) did a great job knocking down the point guard for their team. The big men did a great job of rotating on the wings when they went baseline to get charges and create turnovers.

We played some great defense like we knew we could. It was something we definitely wanted to hang our hat on from last year. Oral Roberts had some great players. I think we did a good job on them tonight. That's just going to get us ready for the Big Ten.

We played great in stretches. But, the whole year's been like that, ups and downs.
