This is a teachable moment. When you see Muslims praying, it's not a terrorist act. It's not a prelude to terror.

The views expressed by the Islamic Thinkers Society don't enjoy the support of the mainstream Sunni Muslim community, and especially not in New York. I would be surprised if they have more than a few dozen members.

We can't act like a mob and destroy people's embassies. We have to remind all Muslims of this. And we have to educate America about our prophet.

Terror comes in all shapes and sizes, and certainly there's no legislation or system that's going to identify terrorists on the spot.

We want to stop profiling. The more that people learn about Islam, the more tolerant they become.
